Denver Water Pipeline Construction Schedule – March-May

Contractor Updates

May 29, 2020

The new on-site Project Manager has communicated that they are continuing to work on the dirt piles, hoping to have most of it removed so crews can start cleaning up by the first week in June.

The on-site Project Manager stated his priority is to move out of the Trails HOA space as quickly as possible. Reclaiming will begin after the first week in June, so crews will still be visible and in our space.

May 22, 2020

  • The local Project Manager is no longer with the project.  New contact information will be provided as soon as possible.
  • Dusty conditions concerns:
    • Requested the water truck make extra passes to keep dust down.  Lucas will talk to the new Project Manager.
  • Extra dirt is being staged in our open space:
    • Since we don’t want the dirt, Lucas agreed to remove all extra dirt.
  • Seeding will take place sometime between now and October.  Seeds will be inserted 1 inch into the ground and then covered with top soil.
  • Concern over changing the landscape thus causing additional drainage issues for neighbors on the east side.
    • Lucas restated that all elevations are documented and contractually his company is required to return the landscape to those elevations.
  • Lost vegetation claim – Lucas was advised that a neighbor lost a tree and that the documentation will be forwarded upon receipt.  He has committed to look into it.
  • The new local Project Manager is still ramping up. We will have more specific time lines to the above in a couple weeks

March 25, 2020

You will be seeing loads of pipe material starting to be staged in your area beginning on Tuesday, March 31st.  These loads will continue to come in for your section over the course of the next couple of weeks.  I just wanted to give you a heads up in case anyone in your HOA inquires.

Please help remind your HOA (the kids and the curious) to stay off the right-of-way.  We will be posting signs as well.
