RV Parking

Parking of Recreational Vehicles is an Ongoing Issue in any HOA

The following letter from the HOA Board communicates how to deal with your recreational vehicle.

February, 2006

Dear Homeowners,

As is easily seen, The Trials community is having an epidemic of trailers parked in the front of homes. This has been a continuous problem. This is difficult for the Homeowners Association to enforce fairly. The Homeowners Association board is made up of volunteers of your neighbors, and we are not anxious to act as policemen.

We all signed the covenants when we moved into the neighborhood. Just as signing a check or credit card slip, one’s signature is a promise to conform to the rules set out in the covenants. We would hope that people living in our neighborhood would want to conform with the spirit of the covenants as well as the letter.

If you currently have a trailer parked in your yard or driveway, please move it so we do not have to become unnecessarily confrontational. These covenants were adopted to protect rights, property values and neighborhood values.

The recently enacted state laws require certain actions by Homeowners Associations. The new policies are on file with the treasurer of our association (Cindi Post), and are summarized on our website, www.thetrailshomeowners.org.

Your immediate attention to this matter is most definitely appreciated.

The Trails Board
